This plant is found in almost all areas of Central Kalimantan and Riau. Sour eggplant is one of important ingredients in malay cuisines, especially in Siak and Kampar, such as “asam pedas ikan tapah”. This study aimed to isolate sour eggplant DNA using Genomic Mini Kit Plant. Research methods consisted of isolation of genomic DNA and electrophoresis.
