The industry sector is considered as a motor of the development and as an accelerator of the economic development and is functioned as the balance, not only among sectors and societies status, but also among cities (areas). This research was aimed to evaluate whether the industry sector was a good indicator and as a mean for creating good income distribution or disparity. To analyze the disparity among cities (areas), this research used Williamson Index. The research findings indicated that the industry sector tended to widen the disparity among cities.
