The study was conducted in September - December 2015 in the Bengkalis - Riau Province. The method used deductive qualitative rationalistic approach. The results showed that the presence of panglong mangrove charcoal a long-standing and productive in Bengkalis until now has not brought prosperity to local communities (coastal).
