The experiment was conducted at KP IPB Tajur 2 from September to November 2009 using Randomized Complete Block Design with three replications. The genotype variability was analyzed using analysis of variance method. The result showed that there are significant differences for all characters. H150 is a PKBT‟s Cantaloupe melon hybrid that had a high TSS (10.02% Brix) and skin hardnes. H7, an Inodorus cultivar, has some potential characteristics. This hybrid has the highest TSS (10.50% Brix) than the other Inodorus hybrids. PKBT‟s hybrids has harder fruit and higher TSS but has longer day to harvest than introduced hybrids. Var. Cantaloupensis has higher skin hardness but has lower fruit weight and longer harvest day than var. Inodorus.enCharacteristichorticultural traitsmelon hybridEvaluasi Karakteristik Hortikultura Hibrida Melon (Cucumis melo L.) Introduksi Dan Hasil Rakitan PKBT IPBUR-Proceedings
