Surface water quality can be determined using a combination of physical-chemical and biological parameters. This study aims to determine the quality of Selais artificial lake water, using physical and biological methods with saprobic coefficient on Selais Artificial Lake, Riau University. The study was conducted in August-October 2020. The method used was purposive sampling. The results of the study found 5 classes with 17 species. The highest abundance was Eudorina wallichii species with an average abundance of 1999.92 (ind / L). Saprobic coefficient on β - mesosaprobic to β - meso / oligosaprobic lakes with light pollutant load Organic + Inorganic material.enPhytoplanktonSelais Artificial Lake Riau UniversityKELIMPAHAN FITOPLANKTON SEBAGAI BIOINDIKATOR PADA AIR PERMUKAAN DANAU BUATAN SELAIS KAMPUS UNIVERSITAS RIAUArticle
