In this research, the adsorption capacity of activated carbon iodine synthesized from CBK biomass was studied through various activation times. Synthesis begins with the carbonization step, chemical activation using H3PO4 and physical activation in the furnace at 500°C with variations of 15, 30 and 45 minutes. The results showed that the adsorption of I2 increased up to 30 minutes (AA5-30). However, it decreased at the activation time of 45 minutes (AA5-45). The data on the adsorption capacity of I2 of all activated carbon has complied with SNI No.06-3730-1995.enactivated carbonbiomassafurnacerubber fruit shellPENGARUH WAKTU AKTIVASI FISIKA TERHADAP DAYA JERAP IODIN PADA CANGKANG BUAH KARET (Havea brasiliensis) TERAKTIVASI H3PO4Article
