Excessive use by the community or disturbance caused by natural factors can threaten the existence of mangrove forests. This study aimed to determine the effect of environmental factors on the structure of mangrove community in Bandar Bakau Dumai using the purposive sampling method by making three transects observation. The data taken included mangrove species, tree diameter, tree height and secondary data (pH, salinity and rainfall).
