The research was conducted in the village of Kampung Pulau District Rengat Indragiri Hulu regency .Consideration of site selection is based on the highest number of poor households in the District Rengat, and the diversity of family livelihoods. The purpose of this study were to: 1) Analyze the structure of household income poor 2) Analyzing the spending patterns of poor households 3) Analyze the depth of poverty 4) Analyze the severity of poverty .Average per capita income of poor families in the village of Kampung Pulau still far from the poverty line.
