Efforts for the development of roses and the proper cultivation techniques need to be done such as by using a good planting medium and proper fertilization. According to this subject, an experiment was conducted faculty of agriculture, Riau University during the four months from December 2010 to March 2011. As treatments are: planting medium combination factor) consists of 4 stage M1: 100% soil, M2 (soil + rice husk charcoal (1:1)), M3 (soil + rice husk charcoal (1:2), M4 ( soil+ rice husk charcoal (1:3) factor 2 namely: consists of 4 level P0: without fertilizer, P1 1g/plants NPK fertilizer, P2 2g/plants NPK fertilizer, P3 3g/plants NPK fertilizer. The exsperiment was arranged in completely randomized design with 8 replication.
