D. esculentum fern samples were extracted by maceration method using methanol solvent and followed by partitioned extract with two solvents namely n-hexane and ethyl acetate. Total flavonoid content was determined using the aluminium chloride colorimetric (AlCl3) method and total phenolics using the Folin-Ciocalteu method.
