This study was aimed to isolated secondary metabolite compound from the leaf of rukam and toxicity of the compound was determined by BSLT method. A secondary metabolite compound (FR-H-03) has been isolated by flash chromatography. The compound was characterized by FT-IR spectroscopy, which showed the presence of the OH group, aliphatic C-H, methylene group (CH2), methyl (CH3), cyclic alkene C=C and C-O (alcohol), also the melting point was obtained at 260-262oC.
