The extract was obtained by macerating the leaves of Annona squamosa using n-hexane and methanol respectively. The methanol extract was fractionated by vacuum liquid chromatography, resulted essential oil fractionation (Fraction 4). The antioxidant activity of the extracts and essential oil fraction was expressed as percent inhibition of DPPH radical (IC50). The results showed that the methanol extract was more active (IC50 = 52.65) compared to n-hexane extract (IC50 = 470.17) while the essential oils have the lowest antioxidant activity (IC50 = 479.48). Analysis of chemical components in the essential oil of the leaves has been determined using Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectroscopy (GC-MS) method. The main components of the essential oil are E-2- octadecadecen-1-ol; methyl palmitate; n-hexadecanoic acid; methyl 11,14,17- eicosatrienoate; and muurolol with the percentage yield according to the peak height serially 26,66%, 16,35%, 8,66%, 8,13% and 5,94%otherAntioxidant activityAnnona squamosaGC-MSISOLASI DAN UJI AKTIVITAS ANTIOKSIDAN EKSTRAK METANOL DARI DAUN TANAMAN Annona squamosa LOther
