In this research, measurement of a static magnetic induction and a magnetic moment induced by HP was carried out. The measurement of the static magnetic induction was done for two directions which were horizontal and vertical direction. The static magnetic induction induced by that HP was measured using a magnetic sensor Pasco PS 2112. The effect of the thickness of material such as copper (Cu) inserting between a magnetic probe and the HP was studied. For the horizontal direction (x direction), the magnetic induction was measured with the distance of 0,7 cm from the HP with and without Cu. The static magnetic induction was also measured in vertical direction (z-direction) using 0 mm, 1 mm, 2 mm, 3 mm, 4 mm, and 5 mm of absorption materials. The results showed that the static magnetic induction was induced by those HP has normal distribution with the position of the peak near thetop of the HP. The value of magnetic induction was found to be 10-3 T and 9 10 T without and with Cu, respectively. For vertical measurement, it was found that the static magnetic induction reduced its values with increasing distance from the HP. By plotting B versus distance, it was found that the magnetic moment of the HP was 1,5 Am2. Based on these plots, then it was also found that the level of absorption of was about 0,02 mm-1otherMagnetic sensor Pasco PS 2112Induction magneticMagnetic momentsAbsorptionCellular telephoneTINGKAT PENYERAPAN INDUKSI MAGNETIK BAHAN PENYERAP YANG DITIMBULKAN OLEH TELEPON SELULEROther
