PNE4 is a Riau local isolate that has the potency in inhibiting the growth of plant pathogenic fungi. Tapioca waste, bran and corn are used as a carrier media to maintain the viability and potency of Trichoderma sp. PNE4 during storage. Nutritional and enviromental factors affect Trichoderma sp. PNE4 growth in carrier media. The objective of this study was to find out the growth characteristics of Trichoderma sp. PNE4 in different storage periods at carrier media. The carrier media were tapioca waste, tapioca waste and bran, tapioca waste and corn and potato dextrose agar. This study used a completely randomized design. The results showed that the tapioca waste medium resulted the dark green mycelium that performed a full growth to the bottom of the medium after 10 weeks of incubation.
