The sensor is supplied with variable voltage of 0-30V and measured in a climatic room with temperature from -20°C to +80°C to obtain the current-voltage characteristic. Parameter extraction is used to control parameter changes of important sensor parameters such as resistances RTo and the temperature coefficient b of the thermistor itself in accordance to the temperature TM of the medium.
