It also attempted to obtain indications of the influence of cat’s race, sex and raising conditions on ectoparasites prevalence. The prevalence of ectoparasites on the cat was 53%. A total of 53 out of 100 cat were examined with the intensity was 3,1 ectoparasites/cat. A total of five ectoparasites species were found, namely Ctenocephalides felis, Felicola subrostratus, Ixodes ricinus, Otodectes cynotis and Rhipicephalus sanguineus, where the highest prevalence (35,8%) of Ixodes ricinus while the lowest prevalence was found on (1,8%) of Rhipicephalus sanguineus.
