One of the stages of wound healing is proliferative stages, one mechanism of this stages is proliferation of fibroblasts. Wound care has been commonly done by using NaCl 0.9%, but it is assumed that aloe vera could be used in wound healing. The contents of aloe vera which expected to increase the density of fibroblasts are Acemannan, saponins and vitamin C. This study aimed to determine the effects of Aloe vera gel (Aloe chinensis Baker) to the density of fibroblasts. Mice were randomly divided into four different treatment groups into normal group, group administered with aloe vera gel twice daily, group administered with aloe vera gel 3 times daily and 0.9% NaCl groups. On the fifth day, skin tissue was taken to assess the level of fibroblasts density. The results of this study showed a significant differences (p <0.05) in fibroblasts density description. This study concluded that administration of Aloe vera gel can increase the density of fibroblasts in mice wounds.enAloe chinensis Bakerincision woundwound healingfibroblastTINGKAT KEPADATAN FIBROBLAS PADA LUKA SAYAT MENCIT DENGAN PEMBERIAN GEL LIDAH BUAYA(Aloe chinensis Baker)student Paper Post Degree
