Samples of seawater and sediment were collected from Mantang coastal waters, Riau Archipelago and analyzed for their Pb and Cu concentrations in UPT Pengujian Dinas Pekerjaan Umum Laboratory Riau Province Pekanbaru using AAS shimadzu AA-7000. The results showed that Pb concentrations in seawater and sediment were higher in station closed to Station 2 (0,707 mg/L and 13,137 μg/g) respectively than that in other stations. Cu concentrations in seawater were higher in station 1 (0,05 mg/L) and concentrations in sediment were higher in station 2 (10,140 μg/g). Concentrations of Pb and Cu in water of Mantang coastal waters were still higher than Kepmen LH No 51, 2004 values. Concentrations of Pb and Cu in sediment of Mantang coastal waters were still lower than IADC/CEDA (1997) values. which can be concluded that Mantang coastal waters does not have bad impact to organisms living in the surrounding area.otherHeavy Metal Pb and CuSeawaterSedimentMantang’s coastal waters.ANALISIS KANDUNGAN LOGAM Pb DAN Cu PADA AIR DAN SEDIMEN DI PERAIRAN MANTANG KABUPATEN BINTAN PROVINSI KEPULAUAN RIAU ANALYSIS CONCENTRATION OF HEAVY METAL Pb AND Cu IN SEAWATER AND SEDIMENT OF MANTANG COASTAL WATERS RIAU ARCHIPELAGO PROVINCEstudent Paper Post Degree
