Nine VAM species and were three soybean genotypes tested for their compatibility to two levels of drought. The levels were set up based on field capacity (FC) of soil moisture conditions : 80% FC and 60% FC. Results showed that at 80% FC VAM species, i.e. Gigaspora margarita, Glomus etunicatum, and Scutellospora calospora were more compatible than the others. At 60% FC, however, G. etunicatum was more compatible than the others. The highest infection rate of 93,33% was attained by Sindoro, the most tolerant soybean genotype. The positive role of VAM to overcome drought stress was more significant in the less tolerant than the more tolerant genotypes.en-USCompatibilitymycorrhizasoybean,drought stress.KOMPATIBILITAS ANTARA FUNGI MIKORIZA ARBUSKULAR DAN BEBERAPA GENOTIPE KEDELAI PADA DUA TINGKAT KEKERINGANUR-Scientific Work Lecturer
