This research uses a simple descriptive. The number of samples in this research were 60 adolescent prisoners who had undergone at least 3 months of detention. The samples were taken by using purposive sampling technique. The data were collected by a questionnaire that consist of 18 questions. This research was conducted in Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas II B Pekanbaru. Analysis of this research used univariate and frequency distribution. The results showed that there were not a significant difference in number beetwen the positive and negative self-concept among respondents, 31 adolescents (51.7%) had a negative self-concept and 29 adolescents (48.3%) have a positive self-concept.
