Abstract
District government Sukajadi, Pekanbaru, Riau Province. As the district
with the highest population density in the city of Pekanbaru city and as the
development of rapid, Sukajadi district should be able to provide maximum
service to the public in accordance with the duties and functions. So far, the
Government District Sukajadi interms of the services as described above have
been evaluated, and the evaluation
Results obtained from the assumption that the services performed by a
strategic business unit is still not optimal and seemed to slow. It is marked with
the number of people who complained about the service at Head Office Sukajadi,
particularly with respect to public services such as ID card and KK.
The purpose of this study was to determine the performance of duties of
government and public service by the District government Sukajadi, knowing the
business district guidance on governance and public service by the District
government Sukajadi, and know the obstacles in the development efforts of the
district administration and the public service by the District government Sukajadi
to its employees.
Theory (approach) is used as a tool of analysis in this study is a theory
about the organization, coaching and administration. While the methods used in
this research is descriptive qualitative research which is intended to provide a
systematic overview of the observed phenomena.
Based on these results, it can be concluded that the district head coaching
Sukajadi in motivating employees to use outside of the authority he has. This is
because the Head tends promising benefits to their employees (especially
temporary employees) of their performance. Camat not been able to provide
optimal motivation as Head has not been able to figure out the psychological
needs of employees due to lack Head of doing good interaction and
communication with employees resulting in stiffness between the two.
Working environment and personal skills possessed Head to Head
disincentives leadership style that is not optimal. While Head has a supporting
factor that he can use to optimize the leadership to make it better, such as
legitimacy, compliance employees, and work motivation owned Head. These
things can be used in the district to try to build a good relationship between him
and the employees.
