Abstract:
This research is conducted to obtain some illustrations about the analysis influence of
variables career development and employee job satisfaction on Radio Republik Indonesia, which
is one of the public broadcaster that is located in the city of Pekanbaru
The research population were all employees of RRI Pekanbaru totaling 121 people, while
sample in this research using stratified random sampling technique, and the sample used in this
study amounted to 55 employees of Radio Republik Indonesia Pekanbaru Branch drawn at
random. Types of data sources are primary data and secondary data. The method of data
analysis used in this study were graded Likert scale consisting of five alternative answers that
contain the variation of the rise. Techniques of data analysis in this study used descriptive
analysis and multiple linear regression coefficients and hypothesis testing (coefficient of
determination,ftest andt-test).
From the descriptive analysis of the results is concluded that the variables job
satisfaction, career development, and work environment in Pekanbaru RRI in the category quite
well. The coefficient of determination to the independent variable on the dependent variable is
equal to 50.2%, which means 50.2% change in job satisfaction can be seen from the development
of career and work environment while the remaining 49.8% due to other factors not examined in
this study. The results of t-test is also known that the development of career and work
environment partially have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction
