KEJADIAN TUBERKULOSIS PARU BTA (+) DAN ANALISIS FAKTOR RISIKO DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS REJOSARI

Abstract

Pulmonary tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by Microbacterium tuberculosis, also known as Acid Resistant Bacteria (BTA). The incidence of BTA (+) pulmonary tuberculosis in Rejosari Health Center ranks first in 21 Community Health Centers in Pekanbaru City, 2018 data is 136 cases. This study aims to determine the risk factors for pulmonary tuberculosis BTA (+) in the working area of rejosari Community Health Center in 2018. This type of research is quantitative analytic with a case control design. Research location at Rejosari Community Health Center. The population is the community who have treated at the Rejosari Community Health Center as many as 3,325 people. The study sample was 110 people. Case group 55 people and control 55 people. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. The measuring instrument used in data collection is a questionnaire and checklist. Data analysis with univariate and bivariate (chi-square). The results show that knowledge is low (p-value = 0.034) contact history (p-value = 0.005) occupancy density (p-value = 0.034) is a risk factor for pulmonary tuberculosis BTA (+). It is expected that P2M especially tuberculosis program holders and health promotion departments will increase promotive and preventive measures, activate cadres for prevention and transmission of pulmonary tuberculosis BTA (+), and collaborate with the Pekanbaru City Health Department for the availability of information media for prevention of pulmonary tuberculosis BTA (+).
