dc.description.abstract |
This study aims to eximine the effect of compensation and promotion toward
job satisfaction in Altrak 78 Pekanbaru. Population is all employees of PT Altrak 78
Pekanbaru. The total sample are 47 employees, which was obtained by using
Slovinand stratification technique. Independent variablesare compensation and
promotion, while the dependent is job satisfaction.Data analyzed by using descriptive
and multiple regression analysis.
The result indicated positive and signivicant influence of compensation and job
promotion toward job satisfaction either simultaneously or partialy. Compensation
isa dominant influence on employees job satisfaction. Descriptive analysis revealed
that promotion was unsatisfactory responded.
It is recommended to improve the fairness and consistency of the
implementation of a promotion that had responded poorly by the employees.
Prioritization of the internal selections based on the principle of honesty, discipline,
achievement, loyalty and competence need to be improved in the implementation of
promotion. |
