Kompetensi Komunikasi Lintas Budaya Bujang Dara Sebagai Duta Wisata Kabupaten Siak Dalam Menghadapi Masyarakat Ekonomi Asean

Abstract

Entering the era of the Asean Economic Community (AEC) by 2015 end, the opportunities and challenges of various sectors in Indonesia is more open, not leastfor the world of Tourism, which will encourage more touristsfrom the ASEAN region to Indonesia, including one SiakRiau. For that tourism Riau should already hare the handle to face the challenges of the MEA, and will be ready to compete _for a welcoming culture that comes from outside, especially the supply of Human Resources (HR) tourism competent and competitive in anticipation of the implementation of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) one of them on election Bujang Dara as Tourism Ambassador Siak. Government Siak should give more attention and support to the Bujang Dara as a tourism ambassador to equip :ommunication competence either related aspects offoreign language skills and _*ommunicatii'e competence in tourism marketing and also the competence of :ross-cultural communication becomes a challengefor human resource oftourism S to more towards MEA. The important thing that needs to be done is to increase :he role of the Tourism Ambassador of only symbols spearhead of the tourism industry in each area. So that its presence urge people, particularly the youth to :ke more serious look at and appreciate the variety oftourism potential in the area
