Abstract:
KHDTK Kepau Jaya is a lowland peat swamp forest that has unique composition plants. The plants
that compose peat swamp forest have the potential as a source of food for Trigona spp. But bee
feed plants have not been managed properly. The purpose of this research is to find out the plants
that compose the peat swamp forest of KHDTK Kepau Jaya which has the potential as a source of
food for Trigona spp. Data is collected by the plant inventory method. Data is processed and
presented in statistical tabulation. Observations show that the KHDTK Peat Swamp Forest Peat
Swamp Forest compilers consist of Dipterocarpaceae, Palmae, Leguminosae, Guttiferae,
Myrtaceae, and understorey families. Development of the Trigona spp honey bee plot can be done
in KHDTK Kepau Jaya by adding potential feed crops such as coffee, sugar palm, coconut, corn,
and other crops that have economic value. The activities of Trigona spp management and feed
crops are expected to be used as a model for the management of lowland peat swamp forest areas
