dc.description.abstract |
Pyrazoline is an organic compound containing five heterocyclic rings with two nitrogen atoms that available in limited amount in nature. It has good activities for treatment of various diseases such as cancer and tumor. Pyrazoline compound 5-(2-fluorophenyl)-3-(3,4-dimethoksyphenyl)-1-phenyl-4,5-dihydro-pyrazole(PF-3,4OMe-2F)was obtained by condensation and cyclization reaction between ketones compound 3,4-dimethoxyacetophenone, aldehyde compound 2-fluorobenzaldehyde and phenilhydrazine using a strong base catalyst with microwave method (180 Watt). The pyrazoline compound has been characterized using UV-Vis, FTIR, HRMS and 1H-NMR spectrometers. The results showed one spot on the TLC with melting point of 138-1390C. The purity tast was carried out with TLC test, melting point and HPLC analysis. Synthesized compound gave yield of 25%. It’s toxicity activity was determined using Brine Shrimp Lethality Test (BSLT) method. It was found that pyrazoline was not toxic (LC50 more than 200 μg/mL). |
