dc.description.abstract |
Food security is notonly aboutthe availability ofadequatefood, butalso providing security forboth producers and consumers and ensuring environmental preservation fora sustainable production. Organic farming system is expected to be the answer for the realization offood security and for the improvement of social welfare.There search showed that, (1) The implementation level of Standard Operating Procedure-Good Agriculture Practice (SOP-GAP) for Organic Rice Farming on the Java Island isquite high, (2)The implementation level of Standard Operating Procedure-Good Agriculture Practice (SOP• GAP)for Organic Rice Farming related to the availability of capital,the selling price of grain and the purchase price of inputs(seeds and fertilizers), (3)the level of the farmer'sdecision related to the level of implementation of SOP-GAP organic rice farming, and (4) The development of organic rice farming requires the availability ofsufficientcapital.Dealingwith these issuesthegovernment inthiscasethe department ofagricultureandfood security agency intheprovince needtodisburseortofacilitate theaccesstocapitalforthefarmers intheformofassistances andlowinterestloans. |
