Abstract:
The research was conducted to determine the performance of air conditioning device wich is modified into a hybrid refrigeration machines, such as cooling capacity, heating capacity, power compression , coefficient of performance (COP) and the performance factor (PF). The study was conducted by comparing data and test result shown the use of hydrocarbon refrigerant mass HCR22 on hybrid vapor refrigerantion machine more efficient 57.78% compared to the use of halocarbon refrigerant mass R22, because the refrigerant HCR22 have a higher latent heat than the refrigerant R22. On the use of hydrocarbons HCR22 to halocarbon R22, the cooling effects increase 18.07% while warming effect decrease 9.3%becaseit occurs at alower condenser pressure (27.73%). The compressor electric power consumption using refrigerant HCR22 more efficient25.04% than refrigerant R@2. Performance of a hybrid vapor refrigeration machine performance increase using hydrocarbonHCR22 :COP increase 57.38% PF increase 20.7% and TP increase 35.43% the cooling rate heating rate using halocarbon R22 and hydrocarbons HCR22 tend to the same condition.
