Analisis Fungsi Dan Peran Penyuluh Pertanian Pada Kelompok Tani Di Kepenghuluan Teluk Pulau Hilir Kecamatan Rimba Melintang Kabupaten Rokan Hilir

Abstract

This research was conducted at Kepenghuluan Teluk Pulau Hilir Kecamatan Rimba Melintang Kabupaten Rokan Hilir on March until June 2010. The location was chosen by the writer because it is one of the locations that become the area of potency foods to plant that useful still exist till today. The target of this research is to find out how is the affectivity of Agricultural Extension toward in area working from function and actor development that has been informated from farmer and by the agricultural extension hall (BPP) in Kepenghuluan Teluk Pulau Hilir. Beside that, this research is to find out what are the problems faced by the agricultural instructor in the field and the problems faced by the farmer in receiving the information new tecnolog y given. The research method that used writer on the this research is survey method. The research data was collected from primary data and secondary data. The primary data consist of farmer,and secondary data collected from BPP office and the others instances. Base on the result of the research, it can be concluded that the agricultural extension that was conducted on Kepenghuluan Teluk Pulau Hilir Kecamatan Rimba Melintang Kabupaten Rokan Hilir was effective. It can be seen from the work achievement in Kepenghuluan Teluk Pulau Hilir by the percentage of the result was 83,333%. Now the extension has problem the is that extension has a less knowledge and difficult to inside the farmer believe to the extension. The farmers doesn't need teoritis about their farm (effort) but their want that feet which can be a prove like which use the demonstration method and for example. The effort like this that sure need a big capital for the extension, while a gift from the government so limited. While the farmer problem that is farmer limited knowledge to foud that information or the new technology from the extension, and have a little time to attend in farmer extension, couse their need time to another work
