Abstract:
Viewing Sub tasks and functions of the Department of Civil Aviation which require the
development of human resources that would cause morale to employees in performing their
duties, the necessary education and training programs (Training) for employees. The
problem in this study is how the Education and Training (Training) to increase the
performance of the Sub-Department of Civil Aviation officials at the Department of
Transportation Office of Riau Province. As for the purpose of this study was to determine the
effect of Education and Training (Training) to increase the performance of the Sub-
Department of Civil Aviation officials at the Department of Transportation Office of Riau
Province.
Theoretical concepts that researchers use is educational and job performance. This study
used quantitative research methods. In collecting data, the researcher used interview
techniques, observation and quesioner. With data analysis techniques make use Product
Moment Correlation.
The results of this study indicate that the effect of Education and Training (Training) to
increase the performance of the Sub-Department of Civil Aviation officials at the Department
of Transportation Office of Riau province is moderate, where contribution of education and
training that followed the performance of the employees is 24.94%.
