DAMPAK KEBERADAAN PT.RAPP TERHADAP PEREKONOMIAN MASYARAKAT DESA LALANG KABUNG

Abstract

The giving of territory autonomy to every province in Indonesia, it has a goal so that every province is able to develop big potential that is its territory, not only the territory is also given authority to arrange its household without involving of another side directly. Riau may have been proud because the government of Indonesia gives the chance to manage all of governance and the territory’s interest. The government does the development in all areas unceasingly. The development is a controlled process by macro plan, the development that is planned such as physic and non-physic development. The development also has a goal to exempt the society from shackle of backwardness, poverty and traditional narrowmindedness, the development has also been seen as a progress in order to change. The goal of this research is to know the existence impact of PT RAPP for K5abung’s society and how the society’s perception against the existence of PT. RAPP. The location in this research is Lalang Kabung Political District. 50 respondents are the sample of this research. The collected data is analyzed by qualitative descriptive. The most of society of Lalang Kabung village gives the positive response with the existence of PT RAPP. But there is also negative response. The factor that causes the society gives negative response from the existence of PT RAPP is the smell which is caused from the factory activity of RAPP. But it can be concluded that the society of Lalang Kabung village gives the good response against the existence of PT. RAPP.
