Abstract

PENERAPAN MODEL PENGAJARAN BERDASARKAN MASALAH UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS V SD NEGERI 044 DURI TIMUR KECAMATAN MANDAU1 Resa ulantari 1, Mahmud Alpusari 2, Gustimal Witri 3 Abstract This research is based on dissatisfying result of the SAINS subject of the class V of elementary SDN 044 Duri Timur. Caused by the lack of understanding and mastering toward the lesson. The subject in this research are 40 student of the class V. the action taken by the writer is the application of problems- based teaching model. The aim of this research is to increase the study result of the class v of elementary SDN 044 Duri Timur. The reflectoin teacher result in cycle I with average 68,75% with sufficient category and cycle II with average 87,5% with good category. The reflectoin student result in cycle I with average 68,75% with sufficient category and cycle II with average 89,58% with good category. From the study result , the beginning average is 63,87 which increase into 73,87 in the post test I, with additional 9,5 point. Then the average score of the post test I which is 73,87 becomes 81,62 with additional 7,75 point, so the total improvement of the beginning score from post test I and from post tes I to post test II is 16,62 point. From the study result of the student in cycle I, it is shown that from 40 student only 27 student could pass the standard score (KKM) (67,5%) and in cycle II get improvement become 33 student (82,5%). It can be conclude that the application of problems- based teaching model can improve the study result of SAins Subject of the class V of elementary SDN 044 Duri Timur
