Sikap Orang Tua Terhadap Anaknya Yang Autis Di Terapi Special Kids Pekanbaru

Abstract

Every child born is a great gift for their parents. Parents hope to have a healthy, a proud and a perfect child. But the fact is out from the pretension. The phenomenon happens in autism is parent are less information bout how to treat their child who gets autism, those who can’t get their child to the therapist, tends not to expose their child. The purpose of this research his to determine the attitudes of parents who have autism children and to determine the factors that hinder parents in dealing autism child. Type of this research is descriptive qualitative research. The number of sample in this research 5 parents of autism child. The data collection techniques of this research is byusing interview with parents of autism child. The data analysis of this research is using technique based on Miles dan Huberman: (1) Data Reduction, (2) Data Display, (3) Conclusion Drawing/verification. From the results and the explanation of this research it has been described the conclusions of this research are: parents who have autism child treated kids special Pekanbaru generally indicate of affective attitude, is that positive. Overall the parents and families of autism child can receive autism child in their live, and the family also cooperate in dealing with autism child. But, parents financial constraints, is that cost, so, parent scan not follow the therapy for long time.
