Abstract:
Research using experimental methods. The population in this study were
students of class VIII SMP N 17 Pekanbaru, based on the calculation of the number
of population with the calculation technique of sampling Saturated gained 20
students as the research sample. Data were obtained research instrument Shuttle-Run and collected through the initial and final tests before and after exercise and the
Zig-Zag Run drill React Movement. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively.
Judging from the results of the background and the identification of the
problem shows that the eighth grade students of SMP N 17 Pekanbaru still do not
have a good enough physical condition especially agility. That is because a lack of
exercise leads to the physical condition. Therefore this study aimed to determine how
much influence the comparison Zig-Zag Run drill and agility exercise Movement
Reacting to the eighth grade students of SMP N 17 Pekanbaru.
Based on the analysis of the t test result of 6.86 t group A and group B was
7.84 with 1,833 ttabel, in groups A and B of 2.069 to 1.734 ttabel at α = 0.05. Means
t> t table. It can be concluded that there is significant influence Zig-Zag Run drill
and agility exercise Movement Reacting to the eighth grade students of SMP N 17
Pekanbaru. Average time of increasing group A and group B 1.44 1.77, mean
exercise movement have reacted more significant effect than the Zig-Zag Run drill.
