Abstract:
Children of kindergarten age are in a phase of development in expressive
language. This means that the child has been able to express his desire, rejection, and
income using spoken language. Phenomena that occur as (1) children who daily use
the local language, (2) children who say rude and disrespectful, (3) children who do
not understand the commands of teachers, (4) the child is difficult to tell by their own
language about the experience of an event that happened, (5) the child is difficult to
answer question of what, how, where, why and how in a simple, (6) parents who do
not care, (7) the parents are too busy with his business, (8) poor parents taking
children to communicate.The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of
family environment on the ability of Indonesian-speaking children aged 5-6 years.
This study uses a form of quantitative research using correlational techniques. Data
collection in the study using observation and interview sheet. The samples are 40
children. Data using simple regression analysis. The results showed that the family
obtained a value of 52 875% which includes the unfavorable category and the ability
to speak Indonesian children sebesaar values obtained 64.19% which included a
middle category. From the research, obtained F value = 69.5 and F table = 4.10 The
then Ho is rejected. It means that there is influence of family environment on the
ability to speak Indonesian children aged 5-6 years in kindergarten Humairoh Desa
Jaya District Kubang Siak Hulu Kampar regency.
