dc.description.abstract	In this paper we discuss the characteristics of free semigroup and free monoid related to word set. The discussion begins with some homomorphism theorems and a criterion for freeness of semigroup and monoid. All characteristics of free semigroup and free monoid are expressed on some theorems. All discussions in this paper refer back to Harju [4].	en_US
