Abstract:
This research is experimental. The research was conducted on student extracurricular basketball SMAN 1 Kampar, Kampar District East. Data were obtained and collected through the preetest and postest before and after exercise lateral run. The data were analyzed descriptively. The results show that students identify a problem extracurricular basketball SMAN 1 Kampar, Kampar District East yet has cardiorespiratory endurance are fine. This is due to the lack of exercise that leads to such techniques and exercise programs that are less systematic and planned. The issues raised in this study is "What are the effects of exercise endurance lateral run against the heart and lungs basketball extracurricular student SMAN 1 Kampar, Kampar District East?" Research hypothesis proposed in this study was "There is the influence of lateral run drill against endurance of the heart and lungs in extracurricular basketball student SMAN 1 Kampar, Kampar District East. "This study aimed to investigate the effect of lateral run effects of exercise on kardiorespiratori endurance in extracurricular basketball student SMAN 1 Kampar, Kampar District East. The results of the analysis showed that there is significant lateral run training to kardiorespiratori endurance in extracurricular basketball student SMAN 1 Kampar, Kampar District East. Based on the analysis of the t test result of 8.60 t count and ttable of 1.833. Means tcount > ttable so it can be concluded that lateral run training for 16 times with a frequency of three times a week can increase the durability of the kardiorespiratori endurance in extracurricular basketball student SMAN 1 Kampar, Kampar District Eastern significantly .
