dc.description.abstract	Ratio estimators of the population mean using simple random sampling and ranked set sampling that suggested here are two ratio estimators involving the first and the third quartiles parameters. These estimators are biased estimators, so that the Mean Square Error is calculated for each estimators to obtain the efficient estimators. Therefore, the simulation using the first and third quartiles parameters is carried out. The simulation showed that the first quartiles parameters are more efficient than the third quartile	en_US
