PELUANG DAN TANTANGAN INDONESIA DALAM KEIKUTSERTAAN MASYARAKAT EKONOMI ASEAN 2015

Abstract

This research explains why Indonesia agreed the ASEAN Economic Community 2015. Indonesia signed the ASEAN Economic Community Blueprint 2015 at 13th ASEAN Summit December2007 in Singapura. ASEAN Economic Community 2015 will open up more opportunities for free flow of goods, services, investment, capital to labor throughout the ASEAN region. The agreement would guide Indonesia to liberate its trade with ASEAN. AEC would provide opportunities for expanding and intensifying Indonesia's export to ASEAN member countries. The resources of this research are books, journal, working paper, article, and websites. To analyze the phenomenon, writer used level analysis of nation state. and utilized liberalism perspective by Adam Smith and John Maynard Keynes, Political Theory of Foreign Policy Decision Making by William D. Coplin, World Systems Theory by Immanuel Wallerstein. This research shows Indonesia agreed the ASEAN Economic Community 2015 because to reasons of economic interest. By this agreement also have a positive impact on the economy of Indonesia and ASEAN both in terms of the macroeconomic or competitive conditions between the visible region of the regional revenue, investment allocation conditions and composition of international trade. With this increase can reduce the level of poverty in Indonesia.
