Abstract

Health is a major factor and the empowerment of individuals and communities is closely related to human resources. In such conditions it is popping up various offers in the community for health such as taking vitamins, herbal remedies, exercise, and various alternative treatments. One of the alternative treatment is a healthy massage parlors traditional massage as an option and similar massage parlors mushrooming in cities. Mushrooming massage parlors traditionally require human resources to do the job, this requirement can be met by labor-hire workers who come from the countryside. Urban also the emergence of various service jobs that do not use or require expertise and skill certified, one of which is the masseuse in the parlor massage parlor, this shows the traditional alternative medicine eksistence middles of modern medicine. The phenomenon of emergence of traditional massage parlors in Indonesia also appeared in the city of Pekanbaru. From the results of research in the field discovered four traditional Massage parlors disguised prostitution activities. And two masseuse working as commercial sex workers in the localization Teleju that have been disbanded in 2010 ago before eventually turned professional as a masseuse at Massage parlors traditional.
