JENIS KEKERASAN DAN POLA LUKA PADA KORBAN MATI KECELAKAAN LALU LINTAS DI RSUD ARIFIN ACHMAD PERIODE 2007-2011

Abstract

Traffic accident is one of world’s health problems that increase rate of morbidity and mortality. The developing country such as Indonesia tends to have high traffic accident rates. The purpose of this study was to determine types of violence and patterns of injury on dead victims of traffic accident at Arifin Achmad General Hospital period 2007-2011. The type of research was descriptive retrospective. The samples used secondary data. Secondary data took from visum et repertum of dead victims caused by traffic accident. The result shows that 249 dead victims were visum. Profiles of dead victim included gender, age and occupation. Based on profiles show that the highest gender is men (84,7%), the most age on 12- 25 years old (45,3%), and the most occupation is enterpreuner (59,0%). All of case shows that types of violence were the blunt violences (100%). Patterns of injury included type, shape and location. The most type and shape of injury is abrations (75,5%). The most location of injury is head injuries (88%). From these data, the conclusion is traffic accident still exist at Pekanbaru and database of dead victims’s visum is worse.
