Abstract:
This research was conducted in pekanbaru. The purpose of this study was to determined the influence of inflation and the interest rate of bank Indonesia certificates to investment credit 0n commercial banks in Indonesia 2000-2011. This research was conducted for 5 months from July 2011 to December 2012.
Collection data which used in this research was using secondary data that publihed by related institutions with this research. Data analysis was used in thisstudy is descriptive quantitative.
The results of research using multiple linear regression analysis explains that the variable of inflation and the interest rate of bank Indonesia certificates less effect on commercial banks investment credit in Indonesia. This is indicated by the value of R squared (R2) of 0,518 which means that the investment credit 51,8% on commercial banks in Indonesia are affected by inflation and interest rates on bank Indonesia certificates, while 41.2% are affected by other factors that are not used in this research. To test the significance of variable inflation and interest rates of Bank Indonesia against investment credit on commercial bank in Indonesia was carried out a test F with 5% significance. The results obtained F-count 4,844 is larger than F-table i.e. 4,256, which means inflation and the interest rate of bank Indonesia certificates, significant effect on investment credit commercial banks in Indonesia. To know the variables that have a dominant influence on the investment credit on commercial bank in Indonesia, then performed a t test. The results of calculation by using SPSS 17.0 inflation variable is 0,436 and bank Indonesia interest rates and is -2,460 with t-table of 2,262 with α 5%.
