Abstract:
This research was conducted region of the Republic of Indonesia which discuss about Indonesia’s rice import Volumes during the period 2001-2010, the methods used in this research is quantitative and the types of data used are secondary data.
The research of the variable is the Volume of imported rice as a dependent variable, the exchange rate of the Rupiah against the U.s. Dollar and the price of rice in the country as independent variables. The formulation of the problem is to look like where the influence of the free variable (independent) against the free variable (dependent). After being processed and formulated equations is obtained as below:
Y = 5002474.945 – 0.611X1 + 3,117X2
Based of equation above obtained a coefficient variables for each variable namely b0 = 5002474.945 shows the extent of the volume of import rice the country all variables free ( the rupiah tumbled to us dollars and rice price in the country ), equal to zero a coefficient variables b1 is -0,611, to b2 a variable coefficient is 3,117.
The results of the study is to uji-t, obtained value H0X1 rejected, because t1 < ttable (-2.544 > -2.306 ), it means at the level of significant 95 %, the value of the dollar to rupiah did not influence significantly to the volume of import rice Indonesia. H0 X2 accepted, the value of because t2 < ttable ( 4.697 < 2.306 ), it means at the level of significant 95 %, the rice price of domestic influence significantly to the volume of import rice Indonesia.
