dc.description.abstract |
This research describes the influence of the feminist perspective on the work program of
the United Nations Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM) post-conflict in Darfur in 2006
and 2010. Darfur is a region in Sudan, with the most severe civil conflict. Rape and sexual
violence to be one tool in the war. Women and children should be protected when the conflict
became the most casualties. UNIFEM as an organization that focuses on the welfare and gender
equality down to protect women victims of conflict. This research explains Feminist influence
within the program of work of UNIFEM in Darfur with a reference for UNIFEM to protect
women from rape and GBV which is the effect of the civil conflict that occurred in Darfur. |
