PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE COOPERATIVE INTEGRATED READING AND COMPOSITION (CIRC) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MEMAHAMI PARAGRAF
SISWA KELAS IV SD NEGERI 161 PEKANBARU

Abstrac
The background of the problem in this study is the low ability students understand paragraphs, the ability to understand paragraphs achievement of students do not meet the standards set in the assessment phase or under KKM. Based on existing problems can be formulated problems how to increase students' ability to comprehend paragraphs using the model of Cooperative Learning Cooperative Study Integrated Reading And Composition (CIRC) to improve the ability to understand paragraphs grade IV students of SDN 161 Pekanbaru. This research aims to improve understanding paragraphs grade IV students of SDN 161 Pekanbaru using cooperative learning model type of cooperative integrated reading and composition (CIRC). The results percentage in each cycle, to the results of the activities of teachers in the cycle I first meeting amounting to 50,0%, at the second meeting of the cycle 1 of 70,0%, in the first meeting cycle 2 of 80,0% and second meetings on the cycle 2 of 95,0%. Then for student activities in the first meeting cycle I is 55,5%, the second meeting of the cycle 1 of 70,0%, in the second cycle meeting I of 82,5%, and second meeting of the cycle 2 of 92,5%. As for the ability to understand the paragraph which UH I at 69,46 and rose to 82,43 on the UH II. From the research conclusions obtained using action learning model Cooperative Study Cooperative Integrated Reading And Composition (CIRC) to improve the ability to understand paragraphs grade IV students of SDN 161 Pekanbaru.
