Abstract

Abstract The purpose of writing this thesis is to provide an explanation of how british petroleum respond to the demands from united states for oil spill case in the bay of mexico, BP is forced to solve this case. This thesis is written with desrciptive method using secondary data, the case of oil spill in mexico bay as the main focus of this thesis. This thesis is using MNC theory which has role for determining international political economy. MNC is owned by superpowered and advanced industrial countries. others countries doing will influence others as well. This things happen because with the tachnological and communication advance, we can quickly know what happen in other country. It's raise the tend of people to have same needs, that's what force company to work at international scale. Company try to search someplace to produce goods and then sell it across the world so it will be economical and competitive The result of this thesis show us that BP is giving respond to thr demands of united states over the case of oil spill in mexicos's bay, British Petroleum is responsible for what happenend to the US, BP gave compensation to a hundred thousand people consisting of fisherman, local people, and resident whom is their work are disrupted by disaster that happened in the deepwater horizon. The agreement includes in contributing to the effort for economi and enviromental recovery around mexico's bay.
