dc.description.abstract |
This article discusses about the inventory management of resources by considering
the discount of raw materials provided by suppliers. In this discussion, an economic
order quantity (EOQ) model with discount quantity is used to determined how much
to order, so as to minimize the total inventory costs. The data taken for this research
is the raw materials data for balado cassava chips from Bunda Fani's Balado Chips
business. The raw material data taken are cassava, chili, and cooking oil. The result
of this research is that the total cost of inventory is smaller than the total cost of
the previous inventory. |
