Abstract:
Pyrrosia longifolia is an epiphyte that grows on old trees and is frequently found
in Indonesia. This plant is widely used as an ornamental and is also used
medicinally by the people in Indonesia. The toxicity of this plant, on the other
hand, has not been thoroughly studied. The Brine Shirmp Lethality Test (BSLT)
results indicated that the crude extract of n-hexane, ethyl acetate, dichloromethane
(DCM), and water was not toxic, with an LC50 value of >1000 ppm.
