dc.description.abstract This article discusses the determinant of interval matrices using the modi ed Crout's method. The operation used is a combination of several arithmetic properties of the interval operations. The demonstration shows that the determinant of the interval matrix using this method has a shorter interval value than the existing methods. This article is a review of the writings of Nirmala and Ganesan [Journal of Physics, 1000 (2018), 1-11]. en_US
